After losing my home and studio in the Palisades fire, the encouragement I’ve received from family, friends, and even strangers has sustained me.  Just as I was reeling from the mayhem of the fire, I was invited to become the resident printmaker at The Social and Public Art Resource Center in Venice, CA. SPARC's leaders’ commitment to socially engaged goals has been an inspiring example of resilience. It has long been a beacon of hope for the community, and now it has become a place of renewal and inspiration for me as well.
